ABOUT US

Thinking GloballyActing Locally

HelpLink was the result of many years of campaign by a few committed Social activists in London for the rights and development of the poor and the marginalised . The official inauguration of this community organisation took place in June 2009, though activities were carried out for more than 3 years.

HelpLink has been established for assisting, educating and empowering the vulnerable sections of the ethnic minority communities in and around the London Borough of Ealing, especially newly arrived and settling communities from South Asia, a dignified life and to integrate them into mainstream society as well as to reduce their dependency due to lack of basic English knowledge and promote their independence.
HelpLink membership and service is avail-able to any one in need though our refer-ence community is the Tamil community which after the civil war is coping with the difficulty of integrating with the main stream of the UK society due to their many inabilities. It is better to teach them how to fish rather than giving fish all the time.
