Helplink is part of many associations and Forums to improve the lives of the poor and marginalized in this part of London. Helplink takes initiatives in many joint actions to show solidarity and support to issues concerning the citizens. One successful such issue has been :

Campaigns for right to health services for Southall.

While guiding and assisting the immigrants, elders and new arrivals especially the students in obtaining rights health services, Helplink also gets involved in different issue of health services. Health services is basic rights of residents and GPs provide the traditional health care. Denying this basic services abruptly is against the rights of patients.

Helplink is involved from in awareness, support and networking programmes especially in participating in the campaings by the citizens Form for organizing awareness programmes to make the public and the PCT Ealing aware that It is a concern that the increasing population in this area needs more health services in and around Southall but closing down the existing ones especially the proposed closure of the Ealing Hospital, discriminates the BME population that desperately needs this health services.
